Short answer
A UGC rate card is the price list a creator sends to brands: a base price for one video, then add-ons for extra hooks, raw footage, paid usage rights, whitelisting and rush delivery. In 2026 a standard UGC video usually costs $150 to $300, paid usage rights add about 20 to 50% of that fee, and whitelisting adds 20 to 30% a month. Our free template below lists every line with its typical range.
Most rate cards fit on one page and cover the same lines:
The lines that move the price most are the rights. A video priced for organic posting is a different product from the same video licensed to run in paid ads for a year. How UGC usage rights work covers the terms in more depth.
These ranges come from published 2026 rate guides. They are a starting point for a negotiation, not a fixed market price.
| Line item | Typical 2026 rate | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Base UGC video | $150 to $300 | Influee |
| Extra hook or CTA | About $50 to $80 each | Influee, Twirl |
| Raw footage | About 30 to 50% of the base fee | Influee, inBeat |
| Paid usage rights, 3 months | 20 to 30% of the base fee | inBeat |
| Paid usage rights, 12 months | 30 to 50% of the base fee | inBeat |
| Perpetual usage rights | 100 to 150% of the base fee | inBeat |
| Whitelisting or Spark Ads | 20 to 30% of the base fee per month | inBeat |
| 48-hour rush | 25 to 50% extra | JoinBrands, Influee |
| Extra revision round | $50 to $200 | JoinBrands |
Experience changes the base line more than anything else. JoinBrands' August 2026 guide puts beginners at $150 to $400 per piece, intermediate creators at $400 to $1,000, and established creators at $1,000 to $3,000 or more (JoinBrands, 2026).

To fill it in:
Before you accept a rate card, ask two things: does the base price include paid-ad rights, and for how long, and who writes the script? Those two answers decide what one usable ad really costs.
Here's an example using the middle of each range above. A $175 base video, two extra hooks at $50 each and 12 months of paid rights at 40% of the base ($70) comes to $345 for one video with three openings. Add a script and an edit if the creator doesn't provide them, and the same ad can cost twice the base price. How much UGC ads cost compares the full price across marketplaces, freelancers and agencies.
A rate card prices one creator's time. We price finished ads, so the lines that make a rate card add up are already in the package:
| Line | On a creator's rate card | In a She Converts batch |
|---|---|---|
| Script | Usually written by you | A direct-response writer scripts every ad |
| Hooks and CTAs | About $50 to $80 per extra version | 5 hooks, 2 bodies and 2 CTAs, mixed into 20 variations |
| Editing | Often extra, or raw clips only | Included |
| Raw footage | About 30 to 50% of the base fee | Included |
| Paid usage rights | 20 to 50% extra for 3 to 12 months | You own the ads forever, with no monthly usage fees |
| Delivery | Set per creator | 7 days |
| Price | $150 to $300 per base video, plus add-ons | From $3K for 20 ads, no retainer required |
